Duke university is hiring Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teachers

Duke University is hiring instructors who will teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction class at Duke Integrative Medicine in the university.

The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program at Duke Integrative Medicine is pleased to invite applications from qualified teachers of MBSR to join our team.
We are planning to add two (2) additional teachers—for part-time contract positions—within the next several months, and would like to invite interested individuals to submit their application for review.
Our Process
All written applications will be reviewed in a timely fashion. Qualifying applicants will be selected and invited to interview with our MBSR team here at Duke IM. Personal letters of recommendations may be asked for (from an employer, person in your class who has observed your teaching, a colleague in the mindfulness meditation world, for example). More specific information regarding the letters of recommendation will be given when scheduling interviews.
Additional interviews after the initial round may be requested of applicants.
Our new teachers will be oriented to the program through participation in bi-weekly staff meetings and participation in at least one 8-week cycle of the MBSR program, before being asked to teach individually.
